School Emblem

The Emblem of the School and the Congregation of the Sisters of St. John the Baptist.

The emblem is made up of a shield symbolizing the faith that safe guides the institute against diabolic dangers. It is divided into two colors red and white. Because the axe that beheaded St. John split his body into two parts. The red color symbolizes the innocence blood that gushed forth from his body and the white color of the ashen face due to the cruel beheading. The words in golden letters, “ECCE ADNUS DEI,” behold the lamb of God”, printed on the small green flag around the sword in the form of a cross, represents St. John the Baptist announcing good news to the world. The external ornament that embraces the shield of faith is the Rosary with the beads of the Hail Mary in blue stones, the symbol of peace and innocence. The Our Father, in the golden letters, is the symbol of light truth and prayer. The word C.S.S.J.B means Congregation of the Sisters of St. John the Baptist written on the blue ribbon on top of the Emblem represents the supreme and eternal commitment of faithfulness to our great protector St. John the Baptist.
